Join-a-Ride is a ride-sharing app which allows users to find the nearest shared taxi rides around them and join the ride to their destination. They can also start a new taxi-share ride and invite other users to join them on the ride. The user can set the new ride to be visible to users who have the same ride conditions (destination) as them, so they can join the ride. Taxi sharers in a single ride can also communicate with other riders in their taxi about the status of the route/ride. The app was developed for both iOS and Android.
