Business Needs: BIM – Change of Room and Floor ColorThe project implements a web application that based on 2D & 3D Revit models, using Autodesk BIM 360 Documents and Forge APIs to detach each floor inside the building. After that, develop a new function using Three.js to calculate Rooms’ borders. The UI of the allocation can select (import/export) a color scheme to apply and fill color for all detached rooms.During the implementation period, we also can test with many IFC models and bring all models into the same view. Users are able to scroll, pan, pick/select… each object/item within the model to see related parameters. Therefore, we can see that using Autodesk Forge and BIM 360 Docs is a good solution to support engineers and users to interact via web browsers. Applied Technologies:Data process:Autodesk BIM 360 Docs, Autodesk Forge APIsBack-end / Server side with:NodeJS, ExpressFront – end and UI: JavaScript, Three JS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3Duration: 2 MMsCurrently, base on the experience from the project, we are investing more time and resources into the BIM Team to learn and gain more know how in this development field. Especially with CIM/BIM and bring it into the Smart City solution.
