Royal Media Services Limited, the largest electronic Media House in Kenya. They wanted to expand their existing radio reach beyond their territorial borders by enabling users to access all their radio station at a single place.More than just enabling radio streaming, the purpose of developing such a solution was to make the users keep coming back by offering an experience that is unmatched in the industry.The task was to build a game changer in digital radio that has the ability to bring massive engagement and take the whole experience of listening to digital radio into a new level. At the same time, it should also act as an alternative advertising channel to advertisers and generates additional income for RMS.The solution we developed run on tablets and mobile phones. It mainly consists of a homepage with a list of all the Royal Media radio stations and provides a trouble-free experience to the users by enabling them to choose their favourite radio station with just a mild touch of their fingertips.The solution has a wide set of features including a favorite list which can be edited by the users by adding or removing stations from the list, facility to record Live Radio for Playing back later, Song playback with pause and play button, view the upcoming songs, rate the song that is playing at an instant, Feature to add comments or requests for songs, social sharing, a brief information about radio stations, advertising banners that can be placed at strategic locations etc.
