Client: a large hotel and restaurant chain with over 1500 employees working in shifts. Objective: develop a labor management and planning system. Result: a multi-platform system for workforce management and labor budget planning. The system includes multiple distinct syb-systems that were developed to solve various entreprise-specific workforce management challenges: 1) Overtime abuse control system - A complex system for managing overtime hours in accordance with local labor regulations and in-company rules. 2) Workforce budget forecasting system - A subsystem that collects employee working history to forecast labor cost, as well as generates finance reports in real time. 3) Sick leave & school day-off tracking system - A salary scales system allowing for flexible wage plans, multiple types of day-offs (sick leave, school leave for students, vacation leave). 4) Labor law compliance system - Integrated labor law regulations - both local (at a company and city scale) and regional (contry scale). 5) Shift tracking - An intuitive, easy to use shift tracking system for transparent shift management and wage calculations.
