Jive is a complex business process management tool serving a major role in everyday cycles of CamTran (link is external) - Canada’s leading manufacturer of oil-filled transformers. Duration: 2012 - Ongoing Technologies used: Tomcat, Java, JSP, Postgres Database, React Solution provided: Complex business management tool integrated with CamTran’s internal systems and manufacturing devices. The main part is focused around creating, managing and controlling Standardized Work Instructions. The project was initially treated as a pilot but after satisfying results it was decided to develop it further and implement a larger package of features and custom software facilitating optimization of CamTran’s business processes. That led to maintaining a long terms cooperation, during which Gecko Dynamics has delivered a system that includes: - Instant and easy access to all projects, KPI’s and critical customer information direct to shop floor - Jobs management tool including specifications, drawings, time standards, completion measurement and various checklists - Project & Issue management tools including workflow from origination to resolution - Production and financial overview & forecasting - Internal audits - Optimization of winding schedule - Friendly interface which employees quickly learned
