Our client is an inter-governmental organization dedicated to global safety. Our goal was to develop a prototype of mission-critical software from scratch to prove that with modern technologies applied, it would be much handier and offer more functionalities than the currently used one. The project finished with building a full-functioning distributed system facilitating communication between marine units operating offline. The main challenges concerned many proprietary protocols we had to follow, along with a complex, military-grade product domain with specified data formats and dependencies.
