Client: We had a very old system to control customer purchases, which had limited functionality within an inconvenient interface. Everything was working slowly and inefficiently. In addition, the market was becoming competitive with other companies that offer the same service. We knew that we had to do something to not lose in this "game," and we decided to develop an app for customers and a system to control. Ptolemay did an incredible job! A team's considerable experience helped us look at the app from different angles and create something new and attractive.Challenge:Slow and not stable internet in some branches of Tegen stores was a challenge for a platform to send data immediately to the server and work properly.Solution:We used Redis as a data store on the application side. On the checkout side, we created separate layers of data that we stored, eventually allowing us to store data in a buffer and send it when the Internet connection restores.Result:For three months, 10k customers downloaded the application. Using the app has become much more convenient since you do not need to carry a card; everything is at hand on your phone. The client is always updated with the latest news and promotions, increasing sales in a company's stores.
