Granberg Website development: Granberg has engineered, designed and manufactured work and safety gloves for over 50 years, covering a range of industries including pharmacy, fishing and food processing. With more than 250 gloves available, we were tasked with designing a website that reflects Granberg’s reputation and experience, but above all, helps potential customers find the right product for their needs. Showcasing the range: Granberg has a range of technologically approved products, some of which have won design awards (Reddot 2015, 2016). Our task was to showcase this in a visually compelling way that addresses the criteria of a potential customer. We combined the technical information with easily identifiable icons to create professional graphics, helping to instil a sense of confidence in the brand. Smart search functionality: with hundreds of products in their database, it was important for us not to overwhelm visitors. We created an intuitive navigation and layout that both retailers and end users find easy to grasp, featuring an advanced filtering system to help visitors browse through the wide range of products with ease. Our smart search functionality takes visitors to the right glove based on the chemical, field, standard, material, coating type, resistance or protection they’re looking for.Comparison tool: with a database of over 2000 chemicals, the search functionality provides visitors with all the suitable gloves for a particular work condition or environment. The built-in comparison tool also provides a way to compare products side by side, ensuring they find the most suitable pair of gloves.Responsive design: with all the different devices we use these days, it’s important that web design and functionality is 100% compatible not just on desktop, but also on mobile and tablet. We tested the project across a number of devices, ensuring the finished website was both user-friendly and responsive.
