Project descriptionThe Additional Liability Company “Advanced technologies” is a major communication operator and provides for residents of Vitebsk the following services upon very attractive conditions – Internet and digital television.The desire to reach better interaction withing the collective and with clients pushed the company management to contact us.ProblemThe previous information system didn’t have the capabilities to coordinate actions of the personnel. Personnel time was spent irrationally. Device management wasn’t optimized. Reports generation, other tasks of business were solved with outdated software. At this stage low level of equipment is insufficient. Decisive steps towards modarnization should have been taken.Our solutionThe internal structure of the Information system required serious improvement (refactoring). We had to do it more multifunctional, suited to more effectively meeting urgent tasks. We used the following technologies: PHP CodeIgniter, jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap Ajax. Software solution that we implemented – Abonmap – made it possible to control switches with the help of SNMP using web-interface. As a result, admins had the opprtunity to have more control over all the devices, involved in the network. Devices that have been added to the network, can be easily tracked on an interactive map.Modules of the tracking system “Sklad” and “Track”, that have been adapted to the new system, facilitate the work of staff, make it possible to use working hours more rationally. The first module provides a control over product availability and also makes it possible to track goods selling. There is system notification and e-mail if there are no goods in stock. The “track” module is responsible for staff coordination. Calender regulates the work of all units within the division. Visual-friendly calender makes it possible to set problems qiuckly. And placing people in charge of problem solving optimizes the interaction in the collective. Also reporting withing the system gives the opportunity to track working capacity of each staff member.ResultThe improved conditions include:Higher degree of process automations;Better control over personnel;Increase of productivity of business processes;Decreasing the time of customer services.
