Ranking Methodology
We rank IT service providers and display them in the WADLINE Leader Matrix (hereinafter – the Leader Matrix) based on our research within a specific market. The Leader Matrix provides an overview of the most successful companies in a given industry or location. The matrix is dynamic — its data changes daily. Final annual rankings based on all evaluation criteria are summarized at the end of the year and published in a dedicated section.
Companies in the lists are not always ordered strictly by rating, as some positions may be occupied by companies that have purchased a promotion service. The Leader Matrix is located at the bottom of each company listing page.
Factors that influence a company’s ranking
1. Client reviews and ratings – the number of reviews, review date, score, budget, reviewer credibility, and overall quality of feedback all affect the ranking.
2. Market presence:
2.2. Marketing activities – how the company represents itself online.
2.3. Innovation – technology stack, UI/UX trends, etc.
2.4. Geographic presence – company offices and locations.
2.5. Reputation and media citations, PR activities.
2.6. Presence and activity on social media, number of followers, reposts, mentions.
3. Quality of the company profile, including data from detailed questionnaires in the company’s dashboard (this information is verified and used to calculate weighting coefficients).
4. Years in operation (company’s track record).
5. Awards and positions in authoritative rankings. Special weight is given to winning positions in WADLINE AWARDS.
6. Type and quality of clients the company works with.
7. Domain performance indicators (domain age, citation dynamics, traffic). For web development companies, this factor has higher importance than for other categories.
8. Portfolio and project evaluations coming from authoritative accounts (an account is considered authoritative if it is linked to a verified company, and the company’s authority is determined according to this methodology).
Which sources does WADLINE use to obtain business information?
